Ep. 01
Plain walls make a room look blah. A little frame, or bold colour could change the entire appearance of a room by a great margin.
In this first episode we will explore four of the most basic forms of wall decor whilst introducing new perspectives and insights into how to make them work differently and creatively for you.
Mirrors and glass
Other than reflection, mirrors are an edgy decoration. They come in all shapes, designs, sizes and colours and the detail on the frame. Decorative mirrors can be hang on the wall, hosted up on a table, console or it’s own stand. It can also take up the negative space in a room.

Glass speaks chic and elegant. It therefore should not only be limited to doors and windows. A creative way to use glass as a decorative piece is to have it painted on one side to create a mirror effect or/and cut into interesting shapes.
Other than typical glass decor, you can have your mirrors create an illusion of a door or window.

Paintings

Choose a mural or chose canvas, paintings definitely enliven walls.

Hanging plants
You can never go wrong with some greenery in your space. Climbing plants more especially add a feel of nature to your walls whether trailing or their veins cascading down the planter.

Trailing plant decor works perfect for large and stand alone walls or narrow walls of hallways and balconies bring the outside feel inside.
Frames
Framed photos are timeless. People have always framed family photos and displayed them in living room walls. Most people have long moved away from that. We have now seen a lot of printed images of abstract art, line work, simple geometric shapes, assorted letters and virtually anything and everything.

There are many other things that people can put in frames to hang on their walls. Printed fabrics, tie and dyes and virtually anything creatively beautiful. Adding a glass to your frames gives your piece a little glam, not to mention protection to the item inside.
You could also decide to hang empty frames in a creative collage.
